Plucked from the mists, of time and space. My Medicine is essentially a tribute to the digital dub sounds heard by thatboytim via soundsystems such as Edinburgh’s Messenger Sound, and latterly Dublin’s Firehouse Skank and Jah Shaka.
The track was written around 2002 in Dublin – but given a refit around 2020.
The ever-present operative Rob Mac also steps in to give it a techno interpretation rich in snaking rhythms and mysterious pulsations.
Available as a Bandcamp exclusive – coming to all the other platforms in April.
