about

Returning to Takeover after a decade absence with the lockdown beatdowns for the dancefloors of your mind -
original Takeover brethren therarelowry revisits two tracks by thatboytim and Stephen Rennicks’ (Drexciya Research Lab /Abstract Analogue) Black Sea Project.

Always A Head originally closed the 2010 Passage album on Takeover Recordings. In therarelowry’s Heads Down Dub he takes it home with added synth riffage for a tough yet wistful version

Curl from 2006 appeared on TAKE06 Lowslung EP and on the Transmute album on Digital Distortions. The Deadzone Dub from therarelowry takes us on a crawl along the seafloor, where huge pressure generates unearthly bass frequencies.
